Jordan Homestead Property
Bayside Road in Ellsworth
Frenchman Bay Conservancy

You’ve heard that Frenchman Bay Conservancy is raising the funds to buy a remarkable property along the Union River for a new river trail and connection to Birdacre. Now, come check it out with us!

What: Enjoy a sneak peak of this property on October 1 and enjoy fresh cider and doughnuts, good company and a walk through the woods to the Union River. Todd Little-Siebold, History Professor at College of the Atlantic, will join us to talk about the intriguing history of this place from Ellsworth’s early days. We’ll be pressing cider too! Bring some apples, and we’ll have plenty to share. If you’d like to use the apple press to make cider to take home, bring your own apples and containers.

Where: Jordan Homestead Property off of Bayside Road in Ellsworth (located on the west side of Bayside Road about .25 miles north of the intersections of Bayside and Beechland Roads). Signs will direct parking.
