Please find below instructions on how to set up and manage your Schoodic Chamber online business account information. Print this document out and save. See the Print button to the far right.
Enter your username/password, located under the Member Area on the right side under the Calendar.
Login, You’ll now see the below icons. This is called "My Account", this is where you manage your Business Listing.
Edit-Login – change your username, password, email address
Add/Edit Business Detail – enter all our business details.
NOTE**if you leave fields blank they will display as –N/A- so try to fill every field with information. NOTE** for fax field type in the word "fax" into the text field box before you add the fax # as the word fax will not automatically display in your listing.
Short Description – displays 1-4 sentences about your business on the Business Listing page.
Long Description – displays a longer text description about your business on your Business Member page.
Select Category – displays your Business Listing on the 5 main Business category pages. NOTE*You can display your Business listing on more than one Business category by holding down the Control key-PCs or the Apple key-MACs
Please DO NOT abuse this feature and only display your business listing on the 5 main pages that are appropriate for your business.
Add/Edit Business Images – upload your business logo and three other images of your business. NOTE*** Upload jpg,gif,png,bmp files, 800K or less file size. Keep the pixels square in size, example 500x500 not 500x100 as the image will be skewed. To change or edit the size of your images, try a free online website called FotoFlexer.com. You upload your image then you can re-size it and crop it.
My Account – located under the Member Area after you are logged in. This link always routes you back to the above page. You can navigate the site while logged in.
Logout – this logs you out of your account.
Add/Edit Photo Gallery – You can upload images to the public Photo Gallery located on the home page at the bottom of the page. There are 8 categories.
Click Upload Photo, choose a category for your image, title and description, browse image from your computer, then upload the image. NOTE** Do not upload images over 1MB. If you see a black image then this is due to the size being too large. Upload jpg,gif,png file types only.
Add/Edit Calendar-Events – You can add either general community or events your business is offering or an official Chamber of Commerce event.
Click Add new Event-
Select Ical “Events” from the drop down.
Add – Subject, Category – General or Official Chamber event, Add text and images to your Event, Location – add where it is being held, Contact- add the Contact
NOTE* -Now click the “Calendar” tab at the top.
Start, End, and Duration dates. Make an all day event, unspecified time, or 12-hour time period. Click the calendars to set your dates. When you are finished click the SAVE button above.
